Understandable...

Jess, please allow me to first say I am so very sorry you and your child are going through this. Daycares are supposed to be safe and fun places for children. You said you've already gone to the police; I hope they in turn have been in touch with your local Child Protection Agency. If not, contact them yourself. They need to be involved.

I have answered a very similar question to yours for another contributor named Rhonda from Pocahontas, Arkansas, USA, who wrote me with the title I desperately need help getting through this. My replies to Rhonda, including one that came from another related question she asked in that thread, can be found immediately below the original submission at the above URL. The direct URL to those replies is: Comments for I desperately need help getting through this.

Please get some counselling help for yourself, Jess. As I said to Rhonda, the best gift you can give to your child is to take good care of his/her mother.
