Abuse won't go away, it is important we keep vigilant.
by: Anonymous

Sadly while we heal the wounds of the past, we overlook that abuse is still alive in our society today. So Hayley what you are doing is important, keeping our minds alert to be aware that abuse is still there in slightly different forms , but it is there. We still have couples, parents having children that they are ill prepared to cherish and love. So we must still educate our younger Generation and hope they will rid us of abuse in future years.

Regarding this "merged" page...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

Hayley, a recent upgrade to the system now allows me to merge pages of a similar theme. I have done so with your posts regarding Khyra Ishaq, the most recent post on the top. In this way, the posts all flow well together, and visitors don't have to search for the entire story.

All comments remain intact, but they must be viewed (and added to if you or others want to make a comment) by clicking onto the link provided at the bottom of each of the individual posts. Hope you like this newest feature as much as I do.

And Hayley, you don't have to do anything differently. I take care of it all on my end.

The death penalty , maybe it needs to be re-established in cases like this . The waffle goes on about cruel and inhume punishment should not be inflicted on the guilty but what the is this kind of treatment of a totally innocent child all about if it is not cruel and inhuman .
Absolutely depraved and horrifying behaviourof the parents , the same with the four (?9 year old boy in London a year or two ago .
Perhaps the powers that be should put it out in large crisp capital letters that for the next TEN years anyone guilty of such horric crimes especially towards their own children there should be only one sentence , whats the value , I have heard 9 cents worth of lead into the back of their head .

As for the child care / welfare people they too should be down the road doing hard time ~ 2years , no if's or but's ,if found guilty then that only equals one thing , guilty

Sounds Hard / overly harsh , disgusting and atrocious treatment of any child especially by a parent / caretaker on the innocents should not be tolerated in the least
