Even when psychiatrists see "signs" of sexual abuse, they typically don't bring it up, because to do so would be to put a suggestion in the conversation rather than allow a patient to actually remember. No matter the type of trauma, it is imperative the patient be the one to bring it forth, otherwise, the doctor's position of trust is jeopardized.

Society as a whole still does not understand that females can be, and are, sexual predators of children. Your story can help people realize the reality of female sexual offenders.

Thank you, Shawnee, for sharing your story with my visitors and me. I send you love and continued healing energy.

Paragraph on anxiety
by: Anonymous

Your paragraph on anxiety, shyness , and quiet touched me and described my childhood exactly.

"It has truly messed me up really bad mentally and it's kinda a relief now in a way, because I now at least know the reason I always felt the way I did and always done crazy things and didn't know why, I had different coping mechanisms to help. I have always had very abnormal anxiety, especially for a child. Normally children don't have much anxiety, defiantly not like I ever had. I was also extremely shy and quiet. I guess that's what made me feel socially awkward."

May the Lord Bless you and keep you. May His face shine down upon you, and be gracious to you. May the Lord turn His face towards you and give you peace.
