You have EVERY right to be concerned...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

There is a serious inequity, a loophole, in the law when this convicted child molester is permitted overnight, unsupervised visitation with his daughter, even though there is a court order prohibiting him to be around children. This absurd "loophole" is tantamount to serving up your child for sexual abuse. These aren't laws that protect children; they are laws that endanger them. It's outrageous!

Kathy, if you are interested in taking up this outrageous issue as a cause, I introduce you to the concept of "Safe House" in "OpenSpace" on my site. I invite you to open a "room" in "Safe House." This would be an opportunity for you to regularly inform my visitors and campaign for change in the State of Indiana. No pressure, though Kathy. I do not want you to feel obligated. If this is something that interests you, check out the following pages on my site for additional details:

Child solicitation laws in Indiana
by: Anonymous

Indiana's so-called child solicitation laws and related statutes are unconsitutional. Many individuals already convicted via these statutes are innocent. Many of the methods of "catching" these alleged individuals are questionable and perhaps even unconstitutional. I am all for taking the real offenders off the street, but law enforcement cannot fabricate "evidence."

After searching for a long lost friend I finally ended my search when I did a criminal check. I wasn't intentionally looking for him at criminal websites! I am deeply saddened that he's been convicted of Child Solicitation (IC 35-42-4-6)

When I first read of his offense I imagined him hanging out at a school playground trying to lure children for his pleasure. :-(

Could it be that he was simply playing online and lured into a trap? Did he intend to meet up with a child for solicitation purposes?

I will never know these things. And nor do I want to. This is indeed a very sad situation.
