Good on you for sharing your story with Darlene and her visitors it has done me a power of good just reading it: How many similiar homes were like yours around that time: We children were in the middle of it all: Male dominiation: moms and dad's screaming, being vilent with each other: then one or other or both taking it out on their children: You sure worked through alot and have ended up a winner over abuse and it all: Your one great and good man having found a great and good woman (friend) loving and understanding who lifted you out of your morass of your past: Stay safe: Be good and true to each other: Be thankful you have reared a beautiful gifted child: Good on you both: treasure each other as a family: Your story gives hope that there is life after abuse:
