A new life...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

I'm delighted that you have found a loving foster family, Michelle. You are definitely worth having a loving home. I'm also very happy to learn that you are in therapy. The fact that you are looking forward to going to college tells me that you've worked hard in your counselling sessions. Keep up the great work!

There is a story on this site written by Tess, a youth who has been moved from one foster home to another time and time again. She does not believe a loving foster family exists. A comment from someone such as you might give her some hope.

You will not belive how extremely lucky you are to be put in a good foster home the first time. To me it seems like a bunch of houses, but home hasn't come for me yet.
