Child Abuse Story of Healing and Recovery From Kesha S

by Kesha S
(North Dakota, USA)

Lost, Scared, and Hopeless:
I'm 15 years old and I've been abused by my mother for many years. When my dad and my mother were married nothing really happened, but when my mother divorced my father, things started to happen for the worst. My mother would hit me, scream at me and choke me. I never was able to eat, drink, nothing unless it was at my father's house.

My father wasn't that bad, he felt sorry for me every time he called me because he could hear my mother screaming at me from across the room.

One night was really bad and I thought there was nothing to live for anymore. I got bullied at school, at home, everywhere I turned. So I thought about taking my life, but I'm glad I didn't.

3 years later, I spoke with my father and said to him everything that has happened, all the abuse and bulling going on. He immediately said for me to move in with him and his girlfriend. And so I did.

That was the best move I could possibly take, now I'm living with my father, his girlfriend and her daughter, going to a better school, and living a happier life.

If you are getting bullied or abused you need to tell someone right away or things could get worse. You will be better off not getting abused by the people who SHOULD love and care for you.

SO PLEASE GET HELP!!

LOVE DEARLY TO WHOM ARE GETTING ABUSED;
KESHA S

Kesha:
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

You may have been lost, scared and and feeling hopeless before, but all that changed when you no longer kept the secret, when you told your father what was really going on in your life. Your father stepped up for you, but only after you were able to step up for yourself. I commend and applaud your courage, Kesha. I know that it took all that you had to tell. And when you did tell, your life changed for the better. I'm so delighted that you are now in a safe and loving place, and that you are happy. Thank you for sharing your story and your all-important message with my visitors and me.

Glad you told
by: Anonymous

Kesha, I'm glad you told because you deserved so much better than what your sick excuse of a mother did to you. Mothers who abuse their own daughters are, in fact, one of the real abusers. Oh, and you are not to blame for her nearly sadistic, messed up, ignorant behavior; she is to blame because, first of all, something's seriously wrong with her; second of all, abusers always choose to abuse. You were the child; she was the adult; she had all the power and she misused it over you. Oh, and I'm glad that your dad and his girlfriend are with you now because they are so sweet for doing that; I just hope you try counselling.

Dear Kesha S. I have story really close to yours like what your mother did. It made me tear up. My mother did the same to me when my dad left But she let me eat and drink. I still stay with her now because I have no where else to go. I would go live to be with my dad but I don't know what she told me about him is true or not with his shady past and all. But im glad you were able to move onto better things and live a happier life. I'm really proud of you and I don't know you. Maybe because you did something that I don't think I could ever do. Sorry if I keep going back to me I do that a lot. But your a really brave and strong person. And that braveness and strongness in your life will take you far. So good luck with the rest of your life and making it the best you can make it. Good luck.
