Child Abuse Story of Healing and Recovery From Anonymous

by Anonymous
(Las Vegas, Nevada, USA)

My story is solved now, but I'd still like to tell. I was hit on a lot and other such stuff, told I was a bad boy, etc. I don't like talking about that stuff. But then I got adopted! The people who took me in are wonderful and they pretty much spoil me rotten! I love it! I was eight years old when I was adopted and my hair had never been cut, so it was very long, clear down to the middle of my back. It's now to my shoulders because they like it that way and I let them decide but I always get love and attention (I LOVE the attention I receive!) and I'm treated like a king. I'm tucked in bed every night under a warm blanket (just out of the dryer!) and am fed the best of foods, I get hugged and told I'm a good boy and that I'm sweet, etc. I'm really very happy in my new home and they love me (I am their only child) I was real skinny when I first came to my new parents but now I'm fed very well, I'm nice and built pretty nicely, and my trust for people has improved greatly!

I'm delighted you are no longer in an abusive environment. You deserve the love and affection your new parents are showering on you. You always deserved that. I hope you tell them how special they are in return; because they are special. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

It is great to hear about loving adoptive parents
by: maurice

You are one very special bright intelligent young boy: Great you are in a loving safe environment with a loving couple to shower their love and cherish you as their own: I was an only child too so I can empathize with you receiving all their attention: Please say thanks and be loving and hugging of them for their goodness to you: Have a healthy mind in a healthy body: take part in games especially team sports with your friends and class mates: You'll have real, natural and true friends for life who will help you to express your giftedness and talents and to be a leader: Stay safe be safe always do your best and what is right for your loving adoptive parents:
