When we concentrate on what we lost, that's where we're stuck; we keep focus on what was or what could have been instead of focusing on creating what it is that we really and truly desire in our lives. The more you focus on what you lost, the more lost you will become.

You ARE a survivor...you survived the abuse and you're still with us. What you are missing in your life is being a "thriver". And being a thriver means taking responsibility for your own happiness, difficult, and maybe even harsh, as that may sound. This abuser did what he did to you once, yet your memory of it lives on and on and on. Your body doesn't know the difference between what is actually happening and a memory of what happened. This means that your thoughts are keeping you in a place that is abuse. You deserve more than that in your life. I strongly suggest you seek out some form of counselling to deal with the feelings that come up as a result of what this pedophile did to you. Seek out various healing modalities. But if instead you keep focused on what he did to you and the anger and hostility that rises as a result, then you continue to give your power to this pedophile. He doesn't deserve that power. Make the choice to begin your healing process, and take back the power he stole from you. You ARE a survivor. I have every confidence that you will become a THRIVER. I send you love, light and healing energy, Wanita. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
