I'm delighted that you and your son are in a safe place. You were abused by your stepfather and you were betrayed and abandoned by your mother. This has nothing to do with YOU, but everything to do with THEM. You are not flawed. You are not to blame. None of this is your fault. Always remember that. Be the best mother you can be with your son. Lean on the support you do have, and continue with your education. You have much to live for and so much potential. And though it can be extremely difficult to deal with the emotional effects of what you've been through, always remember that there ARE people who care about you and are there to help you. I hope you have access to some form of counselling or therapy. You didn't deserve to be abuse, betrayed or abandoned. You certainly deserve help for the fact that you were. I send you love, light and healing energy, Sasha. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
