I've changed your name in order to maintain anonymity, which is now a condition of posting on my site.

The fact that so many openly "approved" ("approved" as in knowing and doing nothing) of the sexual abuse of children at the hands of a family member makes each and every one of them just as responsible as the abuser. They all had the power to stop it, yet chose not to. You did your part by telling. They all turned a blind eye.

I can certainly understand your feelings about his illness. I still strongly suggest you seek out some form of therapy (some type of healing modality) in order to help you with the emotional pain. You deserve that kind of help. I send you love, light and healing energy. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
