None of these sick sex offenders had sex "with" you; they sexually abused you. You were not to blame for what happened. They had all the power and they misused that power. They took advantage of your youth and your vulnerabilities. Then the system wasn't there for you in the way you needed them. You've now found a way to break free from the shackles of what they all did. But you are still dealing with the effects. You say you want your Masters in psychology and a degree in counselling. That will likely include going through therapy, which I highly recommend. Being a survivor means you are no longer victimized, but being a thriver means you've dealt with the emotional trauma the abuse left you with. You didn't deserve to be abused, Misty. You certainly deserve help for the fact that you were. And your children deserve to have a happy and healthy mother. I send you love, light and healing energy. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

i'm in counseling and the weird part about it is that the counselor i'm seeing is the counselor that i had when i was 16 years old to 19 years old but like she said back than is i never would talk about anyone that had done these things to me and she is still trying to get me talk about my father and what he did to me and i have trouble trying to do that but i can listen to everyone else on what happen to them and try to talk to them about their abuse and help them cope with it but i'm very protective of my children and i have talked to them about the bad touches and good touches and let them know that no ones is a loud to touch them anywhere and because of all of this my husband which we going through a divorce he left 2 years ago and did not care if the children had a place to live and i provided that for them but he is trying to say that i'm an un fit parent because of my child hood so all of this is going to bring up in court but i have done more for these children than he has done in a year. a lot people say i have a determination in me than anyone they know because i dont let nothing get me down.
