I understand your anger and hostility. Your mother was mentally ill to have put you and your sister through such emotional abuse; she certainly wasn't right in the head to terrify you both so badly. Please consider some form of counselling in order to help you through the turmoil of growing up with such a disturbed mother. You didn't deserve to be manipulated and mistreated. You certainly deserve the help now that you have. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

No child deserves this from a Mother
by: maurice

Melia, your Mother is one very sick woman, she is in need of alot of personal help. You are unfortuneate to have her as a Mother. Putting the fear of been sent away is horrendous to your childhood minds. It is wrong, she is wrong, please talk to someone you can trust who will get the help you and your sister need right NOW. Melia please do, Darlene has given you loving words of encouragement to get help. I cannot understand why a Mother would ever be so cruel to her children. Having birthed them beautifully, valueing them as a gift, a blessing. That you and your sister are. I am sure you have Grannies/Aunties who love you and your sister. If not then there is a teacher you like at school/ Please tell them you story as you wrote it ever so truthfully to Darlene. Please Melia talk to someone who will really care about you and love you. I will, I can, I must because Darlene knows I am worth it. I do too Melia.
