Not enough has been done to prevent this from happening again. And you need help to deal with what's happened to you. Please contact the Australian Kids Help Line (KHL) at 1800 55 1800. KHL have counsellors who will listen to you and discuss your options. The service is available 24 hours a day for children, youth and young adults between the ages of 5 - 25. Their counselling services are free, confidential, and you can remain anonymous. Lucy: good on you: you had the courage to search for and find a safe haven website to tell what that horrible step-brother did to you: No need to be afraid NOW: Be safe: Stay safe: make and have real friends around you: I bet you have them at school: Friends will help you to grow, mature and be happy and safe: You Dad was a caring dad: I can understand you why you did not tell: Don't blame yourself: It was not your doing; That step brother used and abused your innocence: He did not seem too worried about being caught if he abused you at the pool: It is all over now, in the past, he is getting what he deserved and you are safe: Now get on with your life: Get playing team sports: taking part in your Physical education classes at school: You are special: You have gifts and tallents unique only to you, share them with your friends and class mates: Playing sport will give you a healthy mind in a healthy body LUCY; you'll have fun being your natiral and true self: You may even know a kind teacher or school counsellor that you can confide you real cares and worries to: Please do have your friends your own age and gender: you'll be good for each other and keep each other safe: Help each other to have courage while enjoying growing up together: Stay in education: Great Lucy you found Darlene's site: Read her loving word from her heart to you:
