Child Abuse Story From Lori

by Lori
(Austin, Texas, USA)

My father:
When I was about 13 years old, my father came back into my life after getting divorced when I was 6 years old. He and my mother got back together. I was excited to have a dad in my life. He wanted to get to know me again, and ended up taking me to the movies every Friday night.

We always sat in the back row and he would rub my leg and arm. A few weeks later, he would be touching my body all over during the movie. Eventually, he would put his hand down my pants and rub me. He did this every movie, every week. He had me scared to death to say anything. I didn't want to lose my father again.

A few weeks later, during the movie he got down between my legs and performed oral sex on me, right there in the theater. I was scared of having someone see him doing this to me, but at the same time, wanted to scream as loud as I could. After the movie, in the car, he did it again to me for almost an hour and kissed my body all over. This continued every week. He even had me do stuff to him during the movie and in the car afterwards. He would do stuff to me at home as well, when he had the chance.

I finally told my mom when I was 14, and she kicked him out of the house. She didn't want to report him though. I don't know why. I wish I could get the courage to tell the police what he did to me for almost 2 years.

You are courageous
by: Darlene Barriere

You showed a tremendous amount of courage telling your mother what your father was doing to you, Lori. Your mother should have reported him. He needs to answer for his crimes. I suspect you are afraid to tell the police yourself because of guilt, shame, and a host of other feelings. Lori, I cannot stress enough: You have nothing to be ashamed of. Your father was the adult; you were the child. He took advantage of you sexually, but he also manipulated your fear of losing him again. He knew you'd do just about anything to keep him in your life, so he used that fact to make you keep the secret. The place for him is prison.

bad
by: suresh

Hie well it is good that you are happy that you're dad had finally make the move to stay back with you'll guys and when this happen then for sure he had plan the main purpose of him to come back and stay with you'll guys and when this happen then it is bad too for him to do things like that when in the movie and when your mom had kicked him out without complaining to the police and when she did not did this, it is good for you to complain to the police and when you don't have the courage to make a complain then it is good for you to talk to the counselor in the school or to your best friend and from there maybe either one party can help you to make a compalin to the police.
