Your grandmother sounds like a very loving person, one who really cares about her grandchildren. I can only hope the courts do what is in the best interest of the children involved. I do wonder where your father is in all of this. After all, he is your father, and as such has a responsibility to ensure the safety of all his children, even if that means protecting them from a mother/stepmother. Try not to fret over the pending court case. You can't force the outcome, you can only choose how you're going to respond. Do what you can to be supportive of your grandmother, but know your limits. Keeping your own life in order and becoming the person you are meant to be is the best thing you can do now, which is why your grandmother fought for you. If you need someone to talk to and you feel uncomfortable speaking to your grandmother, contact Child Help at 1-800-4-A-CHILD (1-800-422-4453). They are staffed 24/7 with professionally trained counsellors who will listen to you. Visit their website by copying & pasting the following URL into your browser: http://www.childhelp.org/get_help

I send you, your grandmother and sisters love, light and healing energy, Laynie. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
