You've given a very powerful account of what it felt like not only be abused, but to have to go through each step of the system for justice to find its way to you. As difficult as that was for you, I'm so glad that an abuser—YOUR abuser—was brought to justice, that your parents were there to support you, that you allowed yourself to feel all the anger and hostility the situation brought even when that anger and hostility was leveled at your parents (very real and honest), and that by allowing yourself to feel all that "hate" that hate finally let you go by staying in that courtroom. I commend and applaud you, Kess. What you did was so courageous. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

That was the worst part of my memories, the fact that i hated everybody. I was playing football the next day. Therapy was a great help, even more so when my parents were not there. I would forget, then some bright person would remind me. Hated my life because i thought people would always know what happened to me. I know i should not hide the fact but revealing that fact is hard.
