Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me. Please find some form of counselling for yourself. None of what happened was your fault. NONE of it.

You are innocent
by: Mike

Kelly, you need to tell your parents about it for a few reasons.

Most important reason - yourself
The abuse may be over, but the effects will last a long time and if you get counseling you can learn to put this behind and move on to a relatively normal life.

Another important reason - others
Your uncle may be gone, but his friend is still around and he will be abusing others until he gets caught.

A very personal reason - Internet
If his friend does have the videos, it's very possible he may put them on the Internet. By telling on him, he can be put away and the videos can be destroyed. Hopefully it's not too late.

Last but not least - your parents
I'm sure your parents love you and probably have no idea what was being done. If someone I love was abused, I'd want to know so I can help them through the recovery.

You NEED to make the abuse known. If you can't get the courage to tell your parents, call a hotline to talk to someone privately.
