Child Abuse Story From Josh K

by Josh K.
(USA)

I was abused as a kid. I lost my dad and my mom could not care for me all by herself, so I got adopted to new parents who abused me and sent me to the emergency room in the hospital. I got sent to 2 other families, and then got sent to the family I am in now. I want to know who my parents are, but I never will.

You don't know what you don't know...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

Josh, I'm very sorry about your parents.

You said, "I want to know who my parents are, but I never will." You don't know that for absolute certainty. You don't know what your future will bring. The best advice I can give to you is to keep your head up and take pleasure in all that there is now, today, in the present moment. The rest of your life will unfold in due time.
