Thank you for sharing your story and your all-important message with my visitors and me. I too am delighted that you are no longer having to suffer at the hands of that abusive woman. What I want to say to you is that she lied. She lied about all that you are and all that you can become. You ARE worthy. You ARE smart. You ARE going to amount to something. She was a controlling and manipulative excuse for a human being, one who was lacking in herself. She misused the power she had over you. And whether or not your father was around, he owed it to you, his precious daughter, to KNOW what was happening when he wasn't around. There were so many signs that he ignored. I strongly suggest you seek out some form of counseling in order to help you deal with the repercussions of coming from such abuse, because if you don't, it will continue to haunt you.

this is so sad if i were u i would have spoken up and yeah i understand u would have been beatin more but atleast someone knows and it can come to an end

From Darlene - Webmaster: Try not to judge here, Anonymous. Fear and terror in a little child is overwhelming, and can effectively keep the child quiet regardless of how bad things are. As a little child, most victims believe they won't be believed if they tell. What we have to do is educate children to understand that they will be believed, and also educate adults to believe them when they do disclose.
