Moving forward must start with your Self...

FR, you didn't go into any details about what you endured; and I respect that. What I can tell you is that sometimes distance is needed in order for us to move forward with our lives. But don't wait for that to happen. Start treating yourself with the dignity and respect that you have not been shown. That's where it must start. I wish you all the best, and I thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

Share your troubles with someone

Darlene has given you the respect she gives all her visitors a place to begin a healing process in their lives from abuse. She rightly points out to you she is unaware of what is your troubles at 26 years of age. A full blown Adult who still seems to have difficulty in naming your abuse or whatever is your troubled predicament at this time of your life. Your Parents seem to be to whatever degree, Now FR be brave and go tell a counsellor or indeed someone who will raise you up and out of your present living circumstances. Nothing is so awful that Darlene has not heard or read when it comes to abuse. She is a professional out and out, is a good caring steward of her site. When she tell you how to go about healing from whatever in your case it is for your benefit. So FR if you want to help yourself then begin to kick ass and go and do what Darlene Suggests.
