What a heartwarming ending to such a terrible childhood. First, I'm so happy to learn that you were finally removed from that "hell", as you called it. You didn't deserve to be abused. Secondly, that there was a family who adopted you and loved you the way you deserved to be loved. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful it is to read a story about wonderfully loving adoptive parents. And thirdly, congratulations on choosing to turn your pain into power with your plans to finish med school in order to help others. You are an inspiration. I will say one more thing. Don't be surprised if the memories come back at some point in the near future. If that happens, don't judge it, just realize that you need some help to deal with the repercussions of what you endured at the hands of your abusive father. I send you love, light and healing energy, Emma. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

Dear Emma,

You are an amazing person! I commend you for your strength! You have made the right decision by going to med school and helping others in need. You are a very smart person for thinking like that. Your foster parents are heaven sent. I thank God that he sent you good people like them. I hope and pray that you heal from your past. Stay strong and be a good person and good things will come your way. Always keep God with you.
