The system failed you in every possible way. And so did your mother. She was so wrapped up in her own misery that she failed to see how her choices had severely impacted you, and how she set you up for unfathomable abuse. I do hope you are in some form of counselling in order to help you deal with the residual of having grown up in such a horrific environment. You deserve that kind of help, and so do your children. The best gift you can give to your children is to take very good care of their mother. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

Clara G your one very special woman to have endured all you did and still write your story in such detail to Darlene and her Visitors. Giving anyone and all who were abused great HOPE. You must heed Darlene, her words of empowerment to you are from her huge heart of love and care. Please get counselling, even NOW you will benefit from it enormously. You'll be a prouder woman/Mother to your children after it. They'll also benefit from seeing you truly content and happy in yourself. You deserve the best after that horrific childhood/teenage life you were put through at the hands of an Animal/Savage of a so called human being. He drove you to hell and back with such awful abuse on you. No earthly human being would even treat an Animal the way that no good so & so did to you. Let him die in peace now by letting all the hurt he caused you die with him. Your Mother has an awful lot to answer for. She needs loads of help and counselling too, maybe then she will understand your pain and the effects of abuse on you while she stood idly bye. Love and forgiveness take time, you take all the time in the world to undestand that. You are the most important woman NOW. please be gentle and kind on yourself.
