You can be so proud of yourself for telling. That really did take a great deal of courage. The fact that your mother continues to deny what is so obvious means that she's lost you in her life. That's a very big price to pay. I delighted that your real dad stepped up and is providing you with a safe and loving environment. Cheyenne, if you find yourself having difficulty dealing with the effects, be honest with your dad so that you can get the help you need. You say that you know how to help people who have been through this; make sure you don't forget to get help for YOU in the process. Stay well, and thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
