Your father betrayed you...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

What your father did to you wasn't about your mother; it was about the fact that he was a sex offender of children. None of this was your fault, and it wasn't the fault of your mother for dying in that car accident. Fault lies with him, BeccaLynn; don't ever lose sight of that. You deserved so much better; don't ever lose sight of that either.

Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

My life is the most important life for me to live now.
by: Maurice

BeccaLynn, oh the loving/caring/understanding words of Darlene to you are your own very stepping stones to Living your life now to the full. She is a true professional with a huge human heart in all she expressed to you in her comment. I am certain if you believe and heed these words of hers you life will be brilliant. Live well, laugh alot, Love much. Beginning with yourself I'm Special and I love me. Losing your mother at the tender years you were take time to make sense of alone: Darlene said the right words to describe the loss of your Mother, it was not her fault. Then to be abused by your Father during that trauma in your innocent years must have been truly awful for you. He was a bad Father, a bad man, again Darlene describes him as an offender of CHILDREN, even his own. He was not a good man. BaccaLynn re-iterating Darlene's true words to you NONE OF THIS WAS YOUR FAULT. Possibly with the help of a counsellor and your very dear and closest of your girl/female friends and friends you will come to believe and understand these words in their completeness. BeccaLynn let go of those awful memories you have of what your Father did to you. Look in the Mirror and only see the pretty and beautiful ME person in that mirror. I'm Special and I am going to LOVE ME to bits. Hug yourself and let your closest hug you too just for who you are NOW. Be gentle, Be kind, Be good, Be nice, to your whole self. Your beauty comes from within shower it on yourself in front of the mirror. Having a good mirror image of oneself I believe works wonders for one's self worth and self esteem. Be gentle and kind to the parts that your Father abused in your innocent years.
