Your father meant well, but when he told you to fight your emotions, he did you a disservice. When we bury our emotions, they keep trying to resurface. When we bury our emotions, they affect every aspect of our lives. You say you're fine, and that's not an entirely bad thing. But what happened to you has adversely affected you. when you deny how you're feeling about all that, without finding ways of healing, more will be affected in your life. You'll find yourself triggered at some of the most seemingly benign things. I hope you'll follow my healing blog to get some ideas on how to deal with your emotions as they crop up. I send you love, light and healing energy, Angela. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
