You were so brave to tell! I applaud and commend you for not keeping the secret. Now, at this time in your life, you can't deal with this all alone. Please reach out for any help that's available to you. Seek out some form of counselling or therapy in order to deal with all the affects the abuse has left you with. Know that what happened at the hands of these sex offenders was not your fault. Fault lies solely on their shoulders because they chose to sexually abuse you. They were the adults, Alicia. You were the child. That means they had all the power over you, and they misused that power. They took advantage of your youth and your vulnerabilities. Chances are, you were not their only victims. It is highly likely they have sexually abused other children, and may well be sexually abusing them even today. Consider reporting what these pedophiles did to you before the statute of limitations runs out. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
