Child Abuse Story From Addi

by Addi
(York, Pennsylvania, USA)

Cindy the Devil:
Cindy my "ex mother I call her" is a jerk...she used to like my dad, and then she started acting drunk and being stupid. They divorced after me and my family couldn't take anymore.

She wanted custody, but she was never going to get it...I didn't want her to. Now I live with my awesome dad...she lives with her stupid gay boyfriend...and now my life is messed up because she had to put me through this.

If you have a story like this, please post it...I'd like to read about others who have been through something similar.

Email addresses, phone numbers and home addresses in comments are strictly prohibited.

So much anger
by: Darlene Barriere

I'm glad that you're living with a parent you feel comfortable with, Addi. You obviously feel a great deal of anger toward your mother for the way she treated both you and your dad. I urge you to talk to someone about the anger you feel: a counsellor, a teacher, someone you trust. Don't let this anger eat you up. Don't let it continue to take over your life. You deserve to live free of this fury.

by: Kati

To Kati
by: Darlene Barriere - webmaster

Sounds like you have a story of your own to share.

And please, Kati, do not rank other people's stories. It sends that person (in this case, Addi) the message that what they are dealing with is somehow less than that of others. Right now I do not have the option of removing this feature. When I do, it will be gone from this Stories category; but in the meantime, please show respect to the story contributors by leaving the 5-star ranking in place. I have removed your ranking and replaced it with the much more appropriate 5-star.

I Feel You
by: Francine

I'm so sorry about Cindy and her gay boyfriend. Good thing you live with only your dad! i also feel bad for your dad and you and I think that you and your dad might want to try some counselling if you're still having problems with Cindy and her boyfriend.
