Bravo to that little girl! What a compassionate and loving little person she is. And I commend you for the way you handled the situation. I would add that if this little boy confides in her again, that she tell another adult she trusts, and to keep telling until someone does do something. She told you, so you too could make a report, because one never knows for certain that another adult did what they are mandated to do. As long as you have the information about who the boy is, then you know what you have to do. If she still appears to be upset by all this, it's important that she be able to talk to someone she trusts, like her parents. Her worry could affect her on many levels. Thank you for sharing this story with my visitors and me. Keep up the great work you're doing. Love and light to you, Drew.

I just wanted to clarify some stuff for you Darlene. The only thing she told me was that it was a boy in her class. Also she seems to be fine now that we talked because as far as I know she hasn't mentioned it again at daycare (not that she hasn't elsewhere just that that's the only place I see her), so I can't make the report although if I did you would be right, and what you said makes sense. Thanks again for all you do with this site and everything. Hopefully someday I can help kids like this too. :)

Children Deserve Love And Guidance
by: Charlene

All children are born innocent regardless of what they are and who they are, children deserve unconditional love and their dignity and their boundries should be treated with respect, they are human beings with feelings too and they should not be taken advantaged of, I agree with this too Drew, let us all encourage the children to speak out, because being shamed into silence do not get the perpetrator off of the children and people should not turn their back on a child.
