Safeguarding Children/Teenagers is the responsibility of us all. I heard a victim of abuse a Priest of my Church say on TV that Sex Offenders become part of all the professions you mention, Hard to detect them was up to now difficult because everyone took it for granted that they joined with the right intentions. Their sickness was never diagnosed. Thankfully NOW their is such scrutiny of each one becoming part of such professions is fool proof. Each one is screened to the highest level. Sadly there are sex offenders among Family Life too. I have journeyed with children and young people and their families for over 40 years. Children and Teenagers are no idiots. They know what is wrong and right. They will not allow anyone to molest or abuse them. That is my experience, 90 percent are great and get on with living their lives to the full. Are not afraid to say to their parents even that is wrong that is abuse. Sure the majority of fmily life is good and wonderful and right. Parents love and cherish their children as their right and dignity. There is great families out there. Thank you for highlighting the fact. IMPORTANT. Darlene Thank You: Your stewardship of your site is ever so re-assuring and I feel safe knowing that. There are times I would like to get in touch by email with some of your visitors. Thankfully out of your professional and woman big HEART you don't allow. Good on you for that re-assurance: We all know how safe it is to express our feelings in love and rwspect to each one who had the courage to write and tell their story with intimate such honesty and detail. Knowing it is SAFE. Thank you Darlene for your site. All your visitors are behind you and one family of friends to support each others with their comments. Again, here I am re-assured you will not let any comment get through if you think it would do more harm than good. That takes time for you to read. Thank you.
