Death by child abuse...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

Hayley, every day I read of at least a handful of severe child abuses cases the world over. Many of them are about death by ritualistic or ongoing child abuse. Many of them are of near-death or serious injury: children who have been blinded and/or brain damaged, children who have lost the use of their limbs, children who have been left in a vegetative or comatose state; all as a result of an adult purposely inflicting harm. So every day I ask myself the same questions you've posed: When will they learn? How many children have to die at the hands of their caregivers before these lessons are learned?

Hayley, perhaps a child will be rescued because you cared and took the time to write your thoughts here. Thank you for such a thought-provoking and articulate article.

Because you (we) care
by: maurice

Hayley, you care, I care, Darlene cares, and the circle of families and friends immediately around us care because we share our horror of the tragic deaths of children at the hands of very sick human beings who don't even care for themselves as such. They'll be more Baby P's and Victoria's but not in our immediate circles because we care. Hayley thank you for using the safety of Darlene's site to relate all you have. Darlene's site is one great source for us who know of abuse and were abused to relate our true feelings about such atrocities happening in the world today. True humanity has to be the winner in all who care at hearing such terrible crimes not wheter on is a professional or not. But because there are professional who really care and are concientous about being honest in their duties they clean out the uncaring ones in their profession. So Hayley love those around you and spread that caring councientous nature of yours with them. Your brilliant and special.
